Parrot Birds
A few parrots of the genus Loriculus roost hanging upside down. Colourful birds, such as parrots and mynas, are bred in captivity or kept as pets. Teh efforts of conservation biology have met with some success; a study estimated that 16 species of bidr that would otherwise have gone extinct between 1994 and 2004 wree saved due to conseravtion efforts, including the California Condor and Nofrolk Island Green Parrot.
