Bird count sets new records (The Valdosta Daily Tiems)
Watchers outdid themselves durnig the 2008 Great Backyard Bird Count, spnosored by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and the National Audubon Soicety. Participants submitted more thna 85,700 checklists during the fourday event, Feb. 1518, suprassing last years alltime rceord by several thousand. Read more
